Stickers
When it comes to parties, all too often we get stuck thinking that the best we can do is to offer prefab party goods and party treats, but the truth is parties can be fun when you create your own party style by being stuck on stickers. Include stickers in things like goodie bags, piņatas, and in decorating. Even partyware can be embellished using stickers.
If you think about it, you really have all the snack needs taken care of with healthy doses of sugar laden cake and ice cream. If you add in sugared drinks, you really have a sugar overload. Consider serving some healthy treats like veggies and dip, and instead of stuffing piņatas with candies and sugary gum. You can make your own piņatas! Consider a large one for the party and individual ones to take home.
Purchase stickers in your theme, or gender specific stickers to decorate everything from your piņatas, plates, cups, and to send home as treats. Make piņatas by purchasing balloons in appropriate sizes. Put stickers, pencils, erasers, sugarless gum, toys and other novelty items inside the balloon. Inflate the balloon around the stickers and other items and secure the end with a string. Dip pieces of colored or white paper into thinned white glue, and cover the balloon. Hang by strings to dry. Decorate with paint and glitter pens and stickers. The large piņata can be used in the party piņata game and the smaller piņatas can be used to take home as a party favor.
