Star Wars Travel Ideas
Star Wars is a global phenomenon that millions love and wish they could fight in the galaxy, far, far away. For a child who loves everything Star Wars, throwing him or her a Star Wars theme party would be the perfect choice for a birthday party. Use Star Wars party supplies, decorations, party favors, costumes, memorabilia, toys, movie posters, life-size cutouts, and a Star Wars theme cake.
What little fan would not like to attend a Star Wars convention and dress as their favorite characters. Comic Cons give fans an opportunity to meet their favorite Star wars characters. Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination! was developed by the Museum of Science, Boston and is frequently moved around the United States and the world. The first exhibition of its kind, Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination combines costumes and props from all six Star Wars films with interactive exhibits related to real-world technologies in two technology themes: Getting Around and Robots and People.
Some of the attractions include a full-size replica of the cockpit of Episode IV's Millennium Falcon in which visitors experience a virtual jump to lightspeed. Visitors can meet C-3PO and R2-D2 and explore how people relate to the droids in Star Wars. The exhibition also features real-world robots that navigate and sense the world around them while communicating in increasingly sophisticated ways. The dinosaur-like Troody and a floor-vacuuming Roomba are featured. Luke Skywalker's original landspeeder from Star Wars: Episode IV, on public display for the first time is also included at the exhibit. Scale models of X- and Y-wing starfighters are included with the opportunity how objects can move without touching the ground in the real world (flying cars to commercial space planes). Not only is the Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination! exhibition entertaining and a Star Wars fan dream but very educational as well.
