Why not, at the start of the school year or semester, have a book covering Party for your new students to get to know each other, whch consists of preparing simple School Party Supplies for the event? Let your students know the first day of classes that within a couple of days they should bring in their textbooks for a book covering party. Provide participants with a variety of inexpensive book covering materials, such as comics, wrapping paper, old movie posters, road maps, tinfoil, duct tape, brown craft paper, sturdy fabric and/or pockets, or bags from designer stores.
