The prom is a special event in a young adult’s life; it is the last school event they go to before graduation and celebrates the end of school and childhood. You will need to have a location to hold the party, a list of guests who will attend, food and drinks, decorations, parking, and so on. The list of guests is important because it will tell you just how much space, parking, food, and drinks you will need. The location likewise will tell you what kind of decorations you may need and what kind of music you can have in the background. You should also consider getting chairs for everyone who isn’t dancing. Parking can and will be a nightmare if you don’t have enough space for everyone who will come. If you can’t get enough space, consider having people drive other guests over in several trips.
You can easily get decorations for a prom party. There are banners, disco balls, streamers, confetti, table covers, centerpieces, cups, party favors, and on and on. All of them and more can be obtained with a prom theme. There are many ways to deal with getting food, the most popular is punch in bowls with snacks on the side. Another simple solution is just to buy a lot of 2 liters of soda and several boxes of pizza. Say a 2 liter and pizza for each 3-5 guests. Enjoy! |
