A unique way to make a handmade Pittsburgh Steelers party banner is to enlarge the logo and make it sparkle! In order to complete this, creators will need a few party supplies and craft supplies. The list includes: Thick black satin ribbon, 2 or 3 pieces of white poster board, a large container of red glitter, Yellow glitter and blue glitter, red, blue, black and yellow paint and glue.
First, draw out the logo stars. This can be done by cutting squares to the size needed (about 2 feet) and then cutting dips into the side in the shape of a semicircle. This will give the Pittsburgh Steelers diamond look without the fuss! Next, paint each one of the diamonds; one red, one yellow and one blue.
Before the paint dries, be sure to sprinkle glitter all over the paint. Be sure to get a lot on there so that it is practically all covered in glitter. Let that dry. Once dry, take the liquid white glue bottle and trace around the diamonds. Place glitter on the glue that surrounds the diamonds. This will help create a boarder.
Finally, after everything has dried, line the diamonds up according to the logo; yellow on top, blue on bottom and red off to the right side. Once in line, glue them on a thick black satin ribbon and extend the ribbon on both sides to the length designed. This will allow the homemade Pittsburgh Steelers party banner to be hung up or tied up.
