Pencils are the objects to write and draw. This is considered the very first of the modes through which the kids express themselves. Pencils are made up of a thin pigment stick, which is known as graphite, and along with that they also have the colored pigments, which are known as the coloring pencils and are the kids’ favorites. Slowly and gradually the importance of pencils took a great hype and then it was being used in a lot of different industries such as making cannon balls where pencils were used to put markings on the molds.

An interesting note about Pencils is that there is a Pencil Museum in the town of Keswick, which is close to the site where the first solid graphite deposits were found. It was the Italians who first thought of putting the graphite into the wooden holders, which we refer to as pencils of today. This prevented the hands from getting the graphite shade and in turn making them messy. Pencils have come in many different categories according to the specifics of different professions.
