Harry Potter History and Facts
Celebrate your little wizard’s birthday with a Harry Potter birthday party. Send scrolls as invitations calling all wizard and muggles to meet up with Ron, Hermione and Harry at the Gryffindor House on your street. All the great dragons and sorcerers can come dressed up in cloaks with their crystal balls in hand. Make sure they leave their frogs and owls at home!
Snacks for your Harry Potter party will keep everyone in the mood. Pretzel sticks cast mighty spells when used as wands. Electrify cookies by making them in shapes of lightning bolts. Candy served from the Quidditch Cup will make all Hufflepuffs victors. Or use the Quidditch Cup to serve kool-aid potions that will satisfy even the driest of parselmouths.
Guests at the Harry Potter party can use spellbound broomsticks to break open a dragon piñata filled with candy and trinkets. Or use a pillowcase or stocking as the Sorting Hat to add a Harry Potter twist to any team game. Play Quidditch with the party guests by setting up hula hoops at each the end of the yard. Teams can be drawn out of the sorting hat and the first team to get five balls through their hoop wins! Prizes for the games can be Bertie Bots jelly beans or glasses of ginger ale called butterbeers. Harry Potter parties are fun for all ages since adults and children alike enjoy the book series.
