Gymnastics Party Planning
Gymnastics Party Planning Guide
This party planning guide is designed to cater around a gymnastics party for ages 5 and up. For young children, a gymnastics party is fun, active and keeps them entertained at all times.
First, find a location that allows for gymnastic activity. You can choose to have your gymnastics party at a park that has many options for play and large spaces for running, jumping and tumbling, at an actual gymnastics location where they give gymnastics training, or even in your back yard.
Decorations for a gymnastics party are very minimal because the party revolves more around the activities. For gymnastics parties, the color theme is usually the party hosts favorite colors.
Fun activities to include in your gymnastics party planning are somersault races, who can stand on their hands the longest, straightest cartwheel, obstacle courses and more. You can turn them into a contest with prizes or just do them for fun. Be sure to include everyone in the participation and encourage guests to try something different if they cannot do the task that is laid in front of them.
A fun cake to include at a gymnastics event is one that has a miniature jungle gym on the top of it or even an icing decorated cake with a picture of their favorite gymnast or play equipment. If you want something different, try cupcakes and ice cream sundaes instead of just a cake.
Finally, make sure that your guests have a light lunch so they do not feel sick to their stomach when participating in events. Light lunches include turkey sandwiches or wraps, peanut butter and jelly, fruits and veggies, pinwheels and other light sandwiches.
