BLUE AND RED DINOSAUR EGGS: The kids are divided up into two teams boys and girls. The boys are blue eggs and the girls are red eggs. All the kids are form a circle with the leader in the center. The leader throws the red and blue eggs (balls) to the kids. The kids can only catch their team color ball (egg). If they catch the wrong color they are out. The leader tries to confuse the players: he/she may throw 2 balls at once or pretend that he/she is going to throw the ball in one direction, while he/she is going to throw it in the opposite one. After a specified time, the team in which more players remain wins.
MATH DINOSAUR EGG HUNT: Hide plastic eggs with numbers in them. The numbers should range from maybe 1 to 5 depending on the age of the kids. Limit the number of dinosaur eggs each childd may find. Like about 6 or something. Then, after they're all found, total up the numbers that are in their eggs. The one with the highest number wins a prize. Have plastic eggs with candy in them too, so that everybody will end up with something.
