Cheerleading Party Planning
Cheerleading Party Planning Guide
Cheerleading parties have become a very popular theme. This cheerleading party planning guide will help you with a few games and craft ideas.
No matter what age group you have, you will want to create pom pons for the event. You can create pom pons using garbage bags, tape and scissors. Lay 10 garbage bags out on top of each other, fold them over and cut upwards from the opening to the fold leaving about an inch before the fold. Next, roll the bags from side to side creating a tube. Tape the bottom, at the fold, around the tube up about an inch. Finally, fluff the remaining portion and have fun!
You can also play games such as with teams. Divide all the guests into equal teams and task them with creating a cheer and moves. After a certain amount of time, usually 45 minutes to an hour, they can perform the cheer as a team to other party guests. Make it even more exciting by making a contest out of it with prizes.
After crafts and spirit games be sure to have an area where girls can just chat and relax. They can share spirit cheerleading stories and more. This is especially important for those spirit and cheer filled girls in the age range of 10 years old to 16 years old.
Send your guests home with goodie bags that have hair scrunched, gum, glow sticks and more to cap off a cheerleading party your guests will not forget.
