Captain America History and Facts
Throw a Captain American Party for that lucky child. Captain America party colors should be red, white, and blue. The decorations are very much like what you would do for the Fourth of July. If you have some Fourth of July decorations, be sure and put them out for this party too. You also want to use red, white and blue party supplies. Get patriot party supplies that have stars and stripes on them, or use plain red, cups, blue plates and white napkins. Put red, white and blue balloons in the front yard or tie them to the front door. It would be great to get a large cutout of Captain American himself and stand him up in the party area. When the guests arrive, give each one a cape and a half mask. Next, take pictures of each guest standing beside the Captain America cutout. Try to get the kids to pose like an action superhero. You can send the kids their pictures after the party as a final party favor. Send two copies one for the child and one for their parents to keep.
Get comic books and let the kids read for a period. Then let them trade comics until everyone has at least one comic book that they like and give them as party favors. All superheroes have to train, so set up an obstacle course for the kids. Set out some large boxes; let the kids crawl through them. Have pillows they can jump on and if you are outdoors, have tires they can run in. All that training is going to make them hungry. This would be a good time for refreshments like hotdogs and hamburgers.
