One destination of choice if you love Bowling then this is a place to visit is Las Vegas. Las Vegas will play host to the Professional Bowlers Association World Championship, which began back in 1960. The game has grown in popularity and it is only fitting that for receiving national attention the game be held in Las Vegas. A city that grew up in the 1960’s and has seen many changes along with its own growth in history. A good reason for this event to be held in Las Vegas is after that the city bills itself as The Entertainment Capital of the World, making it a good candidate for many different activities, sports and special occasions. The city has a very large population, in fact it has a larger population then other cities that have their own professional team and yet Las Vegas lacks its own professional sports team. While at the same time it plays host some sporting events like the bowling championship and it does have a minor league baseball team. Concern about entertainment dollars going else where have played a role in the hosting sporting events, but not having a pro team of its own. Which still works to the city advantage as its able to host various events and makes throwing a party with party supplies that much more fun.
